Know Your Deadlines

November 1, 2026: Open Enrollment begins.

December 15, 2026: Last day to select a plan for coverage starting January 1, 2027.

January 15, 2027: Open Enrollment ends. Plans selected December 16 through January 15 generally start February 1, 2027.

Pay your first premium by your insurance company’s deadline to activate your coverage.

Take time to review your options for 2027. Check your renewal notice, update your application with your expected household income and household size, and compare available plans.

Look beyond the monthly premium: review deductibles, copayments, prescription coverage, and whether your doctors and hospitals participate in the plan. Check what financial assistance you qualify for before choosing coverage.
